Under 6’s Team

We have 11 kids registered who are part of our Under 6’s team who started playing matches in April 2025. The team plays Tag rather than Tackle following changes brought in by the RFL in 2024, once they reach mid-way through Under 9’s they will begin to tackle.

New kids are always welcome, so if you are interested in your girl or boy coming down to train with us to see if they like it then please get in touch using the number at the bottom of the page – we offer a number of free sessions to allow you to see if they like it without any commitments.

Our coaching team are:

  • Matt Bailey – Head Coach / First Aider
  • Mark Armitage – Assistant Coach / Team Manager / First Aider
  • Dan Blanchard – Assistant Coach
  • Gary O’Connor – Game Coach
  • Michaela Auty – First Aider / Game Day Manager
  • Natalie Grant – First Aider
  • Kieran Thurston – Game Day Manager

As part of the RFL requirements our team are all qualified in their respective roles with enhanced RFL DBS checks, safe guarding and relevant certificates.
